Overview

Ms. PATH Pisey is a Legal Adviser at LIM, with her area of focus in corporate and commercial, banking and finance, licensing, company due diligence, intellectual property, compliance and legal protection, investment and related matters. She holds wide range of law academy including a Master’s Degree in Economic Cooperation and International Affairs from Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University, Bachelor’s Degree in Private Law from Lumière Lyon 2 University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Royal University of Law and Economics under a joint program with Lumière Lyon 2 University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the Royal University of Phnom Penh, Institute of Foreign Languages. She has additionally completed specialized professional training, including the Legal Mark Agent training course at the Ministry of Commerce, as well as a distance learning seminar on Patent for IP Agent in Cambodia, organized by the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) and the Korean Intellectual Property Strategy Agency (KISTA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation.

With a solid academic foundation and continuous practical experience working as Legal Adviser at HML LAW GROUP & CONSULTANTS over 9 years, Pisey has developed a comprehensive understanding of both domestic and international legal frameworks. Her work on cross-jurisdictional matters has enhanced her ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide well-informed guidance. She has also contributed as a supporting team member during the membership application for Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (Ex-SECC) to the International Organization of Securities Commission of Cambodia (IOSCO).

Pisey has supported and advised a diverse portfolio of local and international clients across multiple sectors. Her work encompasses providing well-structured legal guidance, conducting thorough risk assessments, and delivering practical recommendations to assist clients mitigate potential legal and regulatory risks. Through her advisory role, she has contributed to the development of effective compliance frameworks and risk-prevention strategies aligned with meet each clients’ operational requirements.
